Discovering the Power of Chiropractic

Dr Jason (Chiropractor) has played sports at a high level including rugby for the Leicester Tigers. After a receiving a bad injury, he was looking for care that would make a difference. Chiropractic care did just that as it helped Dr Jason recover from his injury.

Later on, he realized that chiropractic care isn’t just symptom based; it helps your entire nervous system stay healthy starting at the spine. Through adjustments, you provide yourself with the ability and time to heal on your own.


Becoming a Family Chiropractor

Dr Jason (Chiropractor) qualified with first class honours from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic before spending a post-graduate year in a clinic with the support of a qualified trainer. He was then awarded his Diploma in Chiropractic (DC) in 2004. Dr Jason (Chiropractor) maintains his registration by attending annual Continuation of Professional Development (CPD) courses and many lectures and seminars around the UK, Europe and USA to update and develop his Chiropractic knowledge.

Today, Dr Jason (Chiropractor) is passionate about nutrition, exercise as well as paediatrics and the care of pregnant women and babies for a healthy family. He is also an active member of the United Chiropractic Association, meeting with prominent international chiropractors that inspire and excite him about the chiropractic profession.

Dr Jason (Chiropractor) believes in illness prevention so you don’t have to rely on drugs or surgery to treat your symptoms. “I’ve been practicing for over 10 years and I still feel my passion for my profession is growing with each patient I see.”

Walking the Walk

“Be assured that any advice I give to you I do myself.” This includes exercising daily, eating and drinking a healthy balanced nutritional diet and receiving regular Chiropractic adjustments.”

His keen interest in sports started when he began playing rugby at the age of 10. “I now value my limbs more and keep fit by running with my dog around the lovely Yorkshire countryside and Harrogate Moor.” Dr Jason (Chiropractor) has run six marathons, that has raised money for St Michaels Hospice and the ABF The Soldiers Charity as he enjoys pushing his boundaries further. He’s currently deciding on his next big endurance challenge.

Dr Jason (Chiropractor) also has a passion for food and has studied nutrition for over 10 years. “We are so lucky living in Yorkshire as it provides so much local fresh and interesting food.” He loves having his friends around and cooking healthy meals.

Meet Faye, the new chiropractor joining the O’Connor Chiropractic team! Faye graduated in 2007 from the Welsh Institution of Chiropractic with a BSc (Hons) in Chiropractic. Faye has practiced in both Harrogate & Knaresborough for 7 years treating both private patients and working with Championship Football Clubs. She has recently returned after living abroad for a year where she got married and had a baby daughter. Having had chiropractic care throughout her pregnancy and delivering it to her daughter who suffered from infant colic, she has a keen focus on providing chiropractic care to pre and post-natal women and their babies as well as to all members of the community.
